First off, let me get out of the way that I'm hurt no one even said ANYTHING about my last journal (there were 100 viewers). But I should be used to this by now.
This piece has been up for almost a week. It has under 100 views and not even 5 fav's.
THIS piece has nearly 400 views and about 6x as many fav's!
Second let me say just how DUMB FOUNDED I am, in the following fact:
Mature Content
However,
Mature Content
I know, I realize it's all about what group your piece is submitted to. Obviously that gives you a different exposure group and even a different number of people. But there is basically ONE group that is different from these pieces. That's the Ariane St. Amour fan page. I realize that she has a following and that should help. BUT AT THIS MARGIN???? Holy shit that's nutballs!
I do just want to point out that fact, this way for all you future readers, you can know the group you submit it to REALLY affects your exposure. Plus I've been gaining "watchers" after the Blight upload, versus NONE after the CP upload. Oh, and I forgot to mention just how much more time went into CP's edit, than Blight's (it's the hair). It's almost like it doesn't even matter....
I'm going to need to go find a 'Torrie Wilson' fan page now. (don't bother looking, they don't exist. Owen Wilson? SURE. But the beautiful Torrie Wilson? Naaah -_- )

Been so long
As you may have noticed, it's been quite some time since I last uploaded/updated anything (sorry if the *actual* time isn't as long as the time *feels* lol).
Life/fam/work has been insanely busy. I've barely had a chance to maintain my PASSIONS, let alone my HOBBIES. Besides, I always (usually) acted and 'worked' with my own inspirations and urges. No real inspiration lately has probably been a good thing since, well I've had no time :P . However, with TMNT getting into another game (pretty aweful from what I hear) and getting into a little cinema buzz (Michael Bay is sure to try to kill this too :( ). I'm feeling a bit inspired to do a litt
Sorry to anyone who read that!
I want to apologize for my last journal.
I was frustrated and didn't realize that came through my words. Thankfully a 'watcher' set me straight.
ALSO
Since I finally finished the 'Planeteers' series, it's on to newer ground! I have, mistakenly, deleted my notes about ideas I've had over some time (series, models, etc). So this is an open invite for any suggestions. Feel free to message me, if you want to talk details, or just don't want to "put it out there". Most of you know my work, and if you don't you can always just click my 'gallery', so you know what 'style' I prefer, but nothing's "too taboo" to suggest and almost anything can be d
In need of ideas!
Ok, there's a few HQ pix that I want, and they are for DL here on dA, but they cost a few points. The thing is, I would like to make this hobby self-sufficient. I want my work here to produce it's own "worth" so that I can buy said HQ pix.
SO, my quest for an idea begins now (hopefully with YOU).
I'd love to make some type of DLC (downloadable content) for my pieces. So that if you see them, and you like them enough, you can throw some points my way to help me to use some HQ pix for my pieces in the future. I need an idea. It looks like dA makes that aspect easy enough (I can make some 'bonus' thing available for download for as low as 10 p
Real? Fake? Post work? DOES IT MATTER?!?
Lately I've been seeing a lot of comments about breasts. Real surprise, I KNOW. But they have, lately, been upon the topic of realness. I have an issue with that. Firstly, beauty is beauty. And as the old saying says, it is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I'm no fan of s&m/bondage stuff, but that doesn't mean it's "ugly" or even "demeaning", at least not inherently. *I* don't like it, and so for *me* those words ring true, but should I be putting down someone's work or personal preference because it doesn't "match up" with mine?
Which ties into the point about boobs. Some, if not many, people don't care if they're real or not, as

So, to give you my comment:
I randomly stumbled upon your pics while browsing as I discover every other artist here on dA. I like what I saw and so I put you on watch to see if I'd like some other pics you'll post. Does this give me any obligation to comment on everything I view from you? Or to fav pieces I don't like? I think not.
Take for example the "By Powers combined" picture you lament about: It's not my kind of picture. You managed to take a pic of a beautiful woman and turn it into a fantasy of child's toy? This might be your fantasy, but for me it's an unconsentuals objectification (You got the pic from Google? The model and the original photographer don't even know this?)
So I chose NOt to comment not to HURT you, but to SPARE you the hurt.
And to get on the topic of no comments to your previous journal: People who are interested will comment. People who are not interested READ your journal (you have the counted views) but I say they (me included) didn't comment out of respect to you. They don't want to hinder your ideas, they don't want to write empty sentences for the sake of commenting.
This should show you, that the people who read the journal were not interested.
Now you have to expose your idea to a wider audience, as you have to do with your pictures. I would be more concerned why there are only 3 meaningful comments by other people on the two pictures than by the difference in the number of faves (hint: It's the boobs).
So get your act together and stop whining, because this will drive people AWAY instead of spreading your pictures!
