This is from one of my FAVORITE cosplayers. She's an awesome person, doing charity cosplays. She's a great costume maker and has great costume design! Also she's kinda hot, which is -always- nice
I saw this piece of her recently (see original below) and read the accompanying story. It's a bit touching and I'm sure we all have a story of our grandparents that sticks with us and has probably shaped us somehow. It's great to see her put that online and let the internet read something private about her. While Cpt. America isn't my favorite, he's also the one I see the fewest flaws in and what stands for what America USED to stand for, that was freedom in every sense of the word (we may have to discuss that in another venue). So to see the female version of Cpt, aka American Dream, it's an awesome sight!
I saw this and thought "man, it needs the right colors". It's hard for someone who lacks the money to have a custom painted bike at their beckon call, to get this shot to FULLY work. So I really wanted to bring that in. And the backdrop was just icing on the cake. It's like a scene from inside her garage as she looks to take off to a fight. Hey, I know it's not the best color/photo edit in the world, but as a quick job, and keeping my "skill set" in mind, I think this came out really well. I really just wanted to bring the scenery into sync with her. I didn't do a THING to her, I thought she was perfection for this shot. So there you go, enjoy!
