Looking back over the years

I just realized I've been on dA for 4 years. I have no idea if that's big or not, but I realize that I've seen, and fav'd, a LOT of things in those years. My style & art has changed & adapted too. So it got me thinking about "looking back", hence all the lovely models' poses.
"Ok J, but why *so* many?"
Easy, this is also the models I've truly "favorited" over said years. Which means my fav's need a bit of a revamp, but before I do that, I wanted to do a piece to symbolize my fav list and to talk about them briefly. If it's not immediately obvious, they're in alphabetical order, so here ya go:

Alisa Kiss [link]: There are a lot of cosplayers out there, but none mix beauty and 'girl next door' quite like Alisa. One of the best things about her is that she looks amazing in or out of a costume, and can truly model, even if she's a bit new to the scene. I look forward to AlisaKiss.com taking off and seeing more and more of this little dress up'er.

Ancilla Tila [link]: When it comes to 'pro' models, she basically takes the cake, as well as any leather you may have! ^_^. I love how expressive she can be and how wide of a range her expressions are! Leather & latex are not my thing, but she has a way of making them look pretty, beautiful, and dare I say, sexy. From blonde to brunette she's done it all and she's amazing doing it. This is a girl I won't lose any time soon (ya know, in my fav list!).

Ariane Saint Amour [link]: This is a toughie. While I like her and she seems really nice, I feel that her style just doesn't mesh with what I look for. Which is simply a matter of taste! Model-wise she's great! She has loads of talent, and you rarely see her (candidly) without a smile of some sort. She can bring to life cosplays that few are "equipped" to handle, and kudos for that! She may not be a 'followed fav' from today forward, but I'll always have respect for her!

Bree [link]: Ahh, you talk about potential and this girl has it! A great body but an even better expressive face! It seems no matter what she's got on, or doesn't have on, she owns it and models the sh*t out of it! One of my favorite pics of her is a captured-on-camera true laugh, the happiness on her face is worth more than words!

Daniela Sancho [link]: I love this little piece of modeling goodness! If I had to pin-point a 'friend' on dA, it would be her without a question. We've talked and she's an even more amazing person than what she looks like (which means a LOT, if I got lost in words there). I feel for her, as she's got scars from this modeling business, but I hope, every day, that she keeps getting higher and higher so her talents can be seen to more, and so that she can begin to heal and really enjoy sharing her beauty to the rest of the world. Amazing girl!

Demi Scott (aka Natalie) [link]: When people say "big girls are beautiful too", I think "clearly they haven't seen Demi, or else they'd say 'big girls are f*cking sexy too'!". Of course I'm referring to the model world's defnition of 'big'. Either way, she's amazing. Willing and creative and adventurous in almost every photo shoot I've seen her in. She's not ashamed and it shows. However, I may phase her out, only because my style seems to be moving towards a "I need some clothing on" more often now. Still find her amazing tho!

Emily Jean [link]: Unlike the rest of my fav's, Emily has been the sole model I follow that has actually denied my pieces and said 'no' to my requests for editing permission. But dammit I'm just drawn to that girl-next-door look and amazingly blue eyes! So this is my own intervention. I did not edit this pic at all (ok, I flipped it horizontally), and this will be my only submission of her unless I get a note lifting the ban. I just wanted to share my secret obsession over the last few years and (try to) get over her. You will be missed!

Gisele [link]: This girl is hot, sexy, and shows you don't need to be "a stick figure" to look good, at all! In fact I think Gisele is a role model to almost any 'real' girl out that there. You can be yourself, tall and full bodied and STILL be sexy as hell! I hope for more of her in the future!

Jenny Poussin [link]: One of the best models to ever grace the surface of the earth! She talks to her fans in every outlet she's in (FB, MM, dA, Twitter), from the 'big ones' down to guys like me. That alone would make the most average model nearly superstar status, but she does all this while looking like your nearest gym had an orgasm. By far one of the best looking bodies to ever pick up a weight, and she does so constantly, while chatting with fans in nearly every corner of the globe. Superstar? More like Miss Galaxy!

Joy [link]: Ahh this girl just loves her body! And it makes you love it right back! Plenty of girls 'pose' their body, Joy seems to enjoy looking at it just as much as you do and that really comes across in her expressions and posture. She really is a JOY to watch. (that was just too easy of a pun)

Lilly Lee [link]: Lilly almost has that 'typical model' look, but there's just something else there. Maybe it's the fact that she can do so much when it comes to modeling, looking great with or without clothing on. Maybe it's the fact that she rocks the natural brunette. I have no idea, all I know is I find it hard to NOT like her!

Lucy [link]: Unfortunately Joy came first, because these two are so similar. It's amazing that I found two girls who look so sexy and love their bodies so much that see it in each and every picture, even if it's not a "good" one, they still make it amazing! Gotta say, Lucy has an incredible body and I can see why she's so willing to show it off.

Mandie [link]: Probably not really 'her'. She was my first...dA model. I spoke to her a bit and she's the reason why I started on dA. She was banned years ago, now, so I'm not sure if it was her or an impostor, but it's thanks to her that I'm here 4 years later. But her time has come to leave my followed fav's. I feel like what I saw of her was a bit limited, and I'm not sure her true level of modeling, but she has a few gems are really drew me in. Hey, we all remember our 'firsts', eh?

Olivia [link]: If you wanted to tell someone what a glamour model was, you could show them any of Olivia's pics (that I've fav'd). She is the epitome of glamour. She looks great, and has fun with the shoot too. I love how her expressions range so much, and look so good, and all in a single shoot!

Stephy [link]: Another of my "fan fav's". She is amazingly beautiful and sexy all at the same time! But I love how she's so willing and open in her shoots. She really has a great look and her expressions are captivating!

Tana [link]: Like Bree, she has a lot of potential. If I critiqued her it would simply be in the 'expression' area. She has times where she NAILS the perfect expression tho, and that's where I see potential. Otherwise, she's got a great, tight, body. Poses beautifully! And has such range with her photos that she makes any photo manipulator giddy with excitement! She's the girl-next-door Jenny Poussin. And like JP, I hope to see a lot more of her smiling in the future!

Veronica Von Horror [link]: I'm not a big fan of the nick name, but Veronica can do whatever she wants, and I think that's clear in her pics! She poses like a glamour model but has the tatts, hair, and eyes of a goth/suicide girl. It's a combination that's quite enthralling. Like some other models here, I've only gotten permission from the photographer, so I can only wish on a star that he does more shoots with her, because she is easily one of my favorites!

I know this was quite big (pic) and long (description), but I felt like giving a bit of a history bio on some things. I'm going to miss some of these models, but I know in order to make better use of my energy and time on dA I need to worth WITH the flow, not against it. dA is HUGE, and I can honestly miss quite a bit, so if you're one of the few who actually read this far, and would like me to do a photo edit/manip, or want to suggest someone, send me a note. If you want to give me permission for pics, I'll happily accept that as well!
